Cleaning Wipes Will Jam Sewage Ejector Pumps

The photos below show a sewage pit in the floor of a basement of a  home newly constructed within the last three years.

The cleaning lady had been flushing cleaning wipes down the basement toilet and they clogged the ejector pump.

After pulling out the wipes from the pump, the pump worked but it had been weakened from trying to run while it was jammed. The customer requested that we install a new pump to avoid future problems.
